The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York created the first detective game for smartphones. The application was built on TourSphere and produced by Green Door Labs. Through this application, the visitors are directly transported back in time to 1899, where during a gala evening is the assassination of Virginie Gautreau, a beautiful Parisian woman immortalized by the painter John Singer Sargent in his painting of 1884 "Portrait of Madame X". Thanks to the app, every visitor becomes a detective, using their smartphones to explore the museum objects and interrogate suspects and witnesses in order to bring to light the murderess, his weapon, the scene of the crime and motive of the killer.

Il Metropolitan Museum of Art di New York ha creato il primo gioco investigativo per gli smartphone. L’applicazione è stata costruita su TourSphere e prodotto da Verdi Labs Door. Attraverso questa applicazione i visitatori vengono direttamente trasportati indietro nel tempo al 1899, dove durante una serata di gala avviene l’assassinio di Virgine Gautreau, una bellissima donna parigina immortalata dal pittore John Singer Sargent nel suo dipinto del  1884 “Portrait of Madame X”. Grazie alla App, ogni visitatore diventa un detective, utilizzando il proprio smartphone per esplorare gli oggetti museali e interrogare sospetti e testimoni al fine di portare alla luce l’assassino, la sua arma, il luogo del delitto, e movente del killer.
